Halloween Saturday afternoon at 八湯御桑拿

One o’clock on a Saturday afternoon, and Rua de Xangai in NAPE is in full autumn sun. The street trees throw patchy shade across the paving, and the glass of the hotels and office blocks gives back a soft glare. The whole street still sits in bright daytime light.
This year, 31 October falls on a Saturday, and it is Halloween. If you have a Halloween party that evening, the afternoon can go to 八湯御桑拿 first. It is on the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel, right beside Rua de Xangai, and it opened as a brand-new venue on 26 August 2026. That afternoon, a private car arranged by us comes to your door, and your return trip is set up beforehand.
The fourth-floor corridor
The floor has a Chinese-style corridor of wooden lattice, hung with strings of warm-lit red lanterns. On the bath side there are three heat rooms, a Japanese hinoki dry sauna, a glass steam room and a hot-pool hall, and the sweating is left to them.
The bathtub in the room
The private massage rooms at 八湯御 come with a bathtub inside the room, and that is what sets this floor apart. The menu groups the massages into several series, each with its own technique. If there is a series you would like, tell us when you book.
On a first visit, the staff explain how things run once you are there. The hour takes place in a room like this, one to one with a single therapist. We will keep the rest a surprise for your afternoon visit, and those who have tried it call the hour hard to forget.
The dining lounge
The dining lounge is finished in dark wood, which gives it the calmest colours on the floor. Wooden tables for four fill the room, and at the far end a round opening frames a counter lit in blue.
Before you head out
If your evening means hours on your feet and talking, use the afternoon at 八湯御 for the hinoki dry sauna, the hot-pool hall and the hour of massage. On Halloween Saturday, the afternoon is for 八湯御 and the evening for the party.
October rates
In October 2026, packages at 八湯御 run from MOP 2,499 to 7,399, and a 10% service charge is added to everything. Each tier is listed on the rates page. When you book through this site, the private car costs nothing, and you can also pick two add-on services on arrival at no charge. Rates follow what the venue posts on the day, and we check them again with you when you book.
Two questions
On a Saturday afternoon, when do therapists start?
The venue itself runs around the clock, 24 hours a day, and any time suits for arriving. Therapists keep their own shift, from 13:00 every day until 06:00 the next morning.
