Four hands, one hour at a Macau sauna
Published
You read 雙鐘加購 on the board and do the obvious sum: two sessions, so two hours. Most people read it that way, and the line means something else. The hour stays an hour. What changes is how many people walk in when the door opens.
Book through us and a private car is waiting at your hotel. It brings you to the New Orient Landmark Hotel in NAPE, your bag goes into a locker on the fourth floor, and you change and wander over to the bath side for a soak. By the time the heat has reached your shoulders, the room is ready for you.
Two of them, one door
The door opens, the first therapist steps in, and a second follows her. The house rule here is that every therapist showers before each session and again after it, so both of them arrive fresh from one. One of the two may well be the talker. While she rubs the oil warm between her palms, she keeps up a little easy conversation. The other says very little. She asks one thing, whether you want it firmer or lighter, and your answer becomes the plan for both of them.
Then both pairs of hands come down at once, one pair on your shoulders and one on the soles of your feet. For a moment your body cannot decide which end to listen to, which is normal the first time. They have worked as a pair many times and the timing between them is settled long before you arrive, so you can close your eyes and let neither end have your attention.
Meeting in the middle
The one at your head works down either side of the spine. The one at your feet works up through the calves and on into the thighs. The oil goes on at both ends in the same moment, and you can feel the warmth travelling toward itself, one wave from the top and one from the bottom, until the two meet across the small of your back. If your days are spent at a desk, that is where you notice it first, because the lower back suddenly has nothing left to brace against.
At the hips and thighs they split left and right. Whatever the hand on your left does, the hand on your right does too, at the same pace and the same weight, as if one of them were working in front of a mirror. With a single therapist, half of you is always waiting for its turn. In this hour, no part of you waits at all.
You turn over. One of them follows an arm down to the hand and draws each finger out to its tip. The other takes the stomach, and between the two of them the toes get their turn and the underarms are not passed over either.
They finish together with hot towels, one working from each end, and the oil is gone from shoulders to heels in a few passes. You never once have to sit up.
After the room
Out in the rest area, a massage attendant takes over for your two free add-ons. Booking through this site brings three perks: a free private car both ways, two free add-ons of your choice, and a free consultation. You pick the add-ons once you are there. They have nothing to do with 雙鐘. The add-ons are small extras that come with every booking, while 雙鐘 turns the same hour into one worked by two therapists.
The venue is open 24 hours. Therapists are on shift from 13:00 to 06:00 the next morning. Because 雙鐘 needs two therapists free at the same time and every night is different, mention it when you book and it will be confirmed again when you arrive. The minutes are counted from the moment the therapists begin, never from the door.
You can also stay the night. Paid private rest rooms have their price and hours given when you book, and the lobby rest area is free. The shape of a whole evening is on the experience page.
Rates for September 2026
The September 2026 rates run as follows. Shanghai-style massage is MOP 2,699, starter packages are 3,399 to 3,899, popular packages are 4,099 to 6,499, premium packages are 6,099 to 6,499, and the Japanese-theme package is 7,499. 雙鐘加購 costs 1,299 to 3,900 and is added on top of whichever of those you choose. A 10% service charge is added to everything and is not included in these figures, and the full list is on the rates page.
Rates follow what 八湯御 posts on the day, and we confirm where your 雙鐘 falls in that range when you book.
Two questions people ask
Is 雙鐘 an extra hour?
No. It is the same hour with a second therapist in the room.
Where is 八湯御?
On the fourth floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel in NAPE, Macau, about 1 km from the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. Our private car takes you there and back, the address is on the directions page, and the gallery shows the rooms before you come.
So the next time 雙鐘 catches your eye on the board, you can skip the sum. It does not buy you another hour. It buys you another pair of hands.
Send us a line: which night, how many, and where you are staying, and mention 雙鐘 if you want it. The car waits downstairs and we arrange the evening; the consultation is free, through the booking page.
